One of our all time favourite dining rooms by the ever so clever Ruthie Sommers. Such a beautiful combination of gentle sorbet tones mix with the bold black and white stripe we just love it Don't you?
We are busy busy busy here at Ivy and Piper with so many things in the pipe line there is a never ending list of things to do! I am working from home this week and when I do there is always much laptop on the bed action so when I saw this in our files it made think of my week so far. However I will admit my hair is usually not so elegantly coiffed and there is generally an array of baby books and toys being enjoyed by Penny close by. Alas I try, how is your week so far?

We love the work of Ana Cordeiro! So inspirational, so fresh so glam. We love the way she uses subtle soft colours on the walls almost as neutrals. So pretty and doesn't everybody need a little extra glam in our lives?
A little eclectic than usual but loving the simple, sweet vintage vibe. Got to love the mismatched frames and the pop of yellow on a all white background. Hope you are having a divine week!
We have been doing some work for a wonderful client of ours you may know her daughter... the lovely Lady Chatterly. The apartment is very much a work in progress however we are delighted with the progress so far! We have added lots of colour to the living areas with art, and cushioning still to come and you should see the view! We popped over and styled our clients bookcase and a few other areas in preparation for a dinner party she was hosting. To our amazement (not being the most amazing sewers) our client had whipped up the beautiful gingham napkins the day before! Don't they look beautiful with Tina's styling touches. We will show you more of the project as it develops.

Life is in the details, isn't that the saying? You can apply this to your decorating as well by thinking about the little things when you approach a room. Take pride in the way you display your things by creating pretty little groupings in your bookcase, on the piano or on the bedside table. My mother always picks a little posey of flowers from her garden and places them in the powder room in vintage vases. This little unexpected detail brings a smile to my face every time such a nice thought don't you think? What are the little details you bring into your decorating at home? We would love to know.
