Life is in the details, isn't that the saying? You can apply this to your decorating as well by thinking about the little things when you approach a room. Take pride in the way you display your things by creating pretty little groupings in your bookcase, on the piano or on the bedside table. My mother always picks a little posey of flowers from her garden and places them in the powder room in vintage vases. This little unexpected detail brings a smile to my face every time such a nice thought don't you think? What are the little details you bring into your decorating at home? We would love to know.

you are so right- the handpicked flowers in grouped vases...the collected shells in mason jars...the smooth stones balanced in towers my children collect in rivers...
ReplyDeletethe smallest details- that all somehow unite a look - make a house a home...
