Morning! We have had an early morning here at the Ivy and Piper home office with Penny deciding to wake at 4.15am !!!! Yikes! Anyway it has given me a chance to check out some gorgeous wall candy for a client and here are a few things I have found that would work for her... or you for that matter.... I have loved Louise Tidd for such a long time Anna from Absolutely Beautiful Things introduced me to her years ago when we were working together. Love the abstract art from Lindsay Cowles so bright we love the first one in particular it would be great on its own or added to an ever expanding cluster wall. Last but not least the stunning vivid pink and yellow from Annechovie one of our fav colour combos. It packs a punch to say the least definitely one to hang on its own. Thanks to Haven and Home this morning for some inspiration gorgeous inspiration! We are loving the green and gold with touches of pink in the second image. You have to love a white sofa.. but now we have our gorgeous pink and orange 'Don't Fret' trellis perhaps it's time to be brave and go bold with a pattern???? We could see it here? How about you?

TA DAH!!!! IVY AND PIPER FABRIC COLLECTION

We can't wait to introduce you to our latest Ivy and Piper members who will be joining the team in the next couple of weeks. From the left we have Happy Houndstooth, Don't Fret, Chinois Soiree and Looking Glass. More friends will be joining them soon (and more colourways!) and will be available by the metre and in cushion covers! As designers, Elizabeth and I wanted to produce an inspiring range of fabrics that represent classic style with a modern edge. What we've (lovingly) drawn and designed for you is a collection of modern motifs, patterns and classic brights.

To celebrate we are giving away 2 metres of your choice of fabric to use how you please simply tell us which design is your favourite and how you will use it!"

IT'S WHATS OUTSIDE THAT COUNTS...

Some lovely little pics to start the week. As interior designers of course it drives us crazy when people build beautiful homes with all the right finishes on the outside but leave no budget for the interiors. When this happens it seems the house is let down such a shame but in saying this of course what is on the outside counts too. And aren't these beautiful all in there own way? Picture number one reminds us of the homes in a film we saw recently, The Help but don't those pretty painted shutters just get your pulse racing?

New Issue

The decisions! We need a new sofa for our sunroom and I just can't decide! These are a few of the favourites from our files. Loving lillac and the cut out shape of Tori Mellots (top image) with the black and white contrast so bold. But being an old fashioned girl there is something about the Lena in the second image that makes me think sunroom... covered in pink and green with a sweet little skirt added or turned legs maybe? But I have always loved the last two images Joe Nye's ensemble is heart stoppingly good and Windsor Smith's Chloe is a style I can't go past it is such a shame we only need one! for now. ( I think Windsor is in the lead but will keep you posted) Happy Monday!
