This Country Life...

Well what a week it has been! So sorry for the absence Elizabeth has been busily holding fort whilst Stuart, Penny and I relocated our lives from our little cottage in inner city Brisbane to our new home... 4.5 acres of gorgeous gardens complete with a beautiful old house and some fresh country air! We have made a tree change and simply adore it! Whilst there are thousands of boxes still piled high around us and plenty of redecorating to do (my favourite) it is feeling more like home than anywhere else ever has. Our first weekend at home was filled with friends just dropping over, family coming to stay and lunch which turned into dinner. So far we are thrilled with our new home! Of course from time to time I will share some snippets of home and when we finally embark on a renovation (there is plenty to do) I will be sure to keep you up to date. In the meantime I loved this image I had saved from Brabourne Farm and can't wait to keep adding to the inspiration pile! I hope your week is going swimmingly!

  2. Congratulations! I am totally envious but very happy that you've made the move to land...and space! We would love to do the same but haven't been brave enough to actually do it; I so admire those who have. I hope you are all absolutely loving your new home and I look forward to seeing what wonderful things you do. Annie x.

  3. Congrats on the move! The night sky is so much prettier as soon as you drive out of Brisbane! Hope the rain held off a little for the unpacking! Lovely photo BTW! Jx
