BATHROOM LOVE

Not sure why but we are swooning over this crazy bathroom!  Maybe its the pattern on pattern, wallpapered ceiling or maybe it is the amazing shell chandelier!!!  (Can't shake the feeling I need one for the new house) Anyone know where we can get a really really big one I would love some inside info!  We hope you having a wonderful weekend.

Brrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!  We are warming up with some orange inspiration!  Loving that jacket and the fur not to mention the gloves (almost necessary at the moment) and the bag!  Chinoiserie you are our favourite and we are loving the Inspired Mrs Stevens right now too check it out here.  And that breakfast room how divine it just goes to show colour can be used as a neutral for a sophisticated look... love love love.     Happy Monday!

Ivy and Piper

I know, I know we have posted on yellow (several times) but have you noticed it popping up all over the place again????  We loved this pretty country style room with what can only be described as spectacular use of yellow!  Love the reverse treatment on the windows so dandy!  And yes we are suckers for sparkles glimmering amongst subtle pops of all our favourite colours via What Alice Saw.  And lastly our fruit trees are completely laden with beautiful perfect citrus!  The first basket of many picked by my darling Penny and I this morning and doesn't that yellow look gorgeous on the minty aqua of our dining table?  Yellow... we do love you.

For those of you that know us....we are not usually the outdoorsy types! We don't really do hiking, climbing, bushwalking but we do do long lunches outdoors, picnics, candle lit dinners on the terrace, champagne in the sunshine and reading under dappled light.  These count as outdoor activities.. right?  Just a few pics above for a little outdoor inspiration Ivy and Piper style.

Some Behind the Scenes Fun!!!

We had some photography taken this week for an upcoming advertising for the Ivy and Piper fabrics and thought we would share some behind the scenes shots!  A lovely client of ours (thanks J) let us borrow the grounds of her absolutely stunning home for the photo shoot.  As it turned out her darling poodle and maltese wanted to join in the fun.  Cody the poodle has even been snapped in Central Park by New York Magazine because he is soooo fabulous! We had a lovely day in the winter sun made even brighter by the IvP fabrics don't you think? We are so thrilled with how our Looking Glass Fabric in emerald has worked with the pink vintage cane sofa we are not sure if we can part with it!  It will be on our new website launching soon but for now it looks right at home at the showroom and we get to enjoy it... for now!

PRETTY PLACE TO POWDER YOUR NOSE

We would definitely find an excuse to pop out and powder our noses if the bathroom were this gorgeous! Love the gold, love the blue, love the pretty vases with garden fresh blooms whats not to love?  We might add a graphic rug to the floor occasionally to give it a different look but pretty perfect don't you think?
