So sorry for the lack of posts!  I thought I would let our pics explain... We have been so busy here we had to take a little blog break these are just a few of the things that have been taking up our time this last week.   We have been getting ready for the next issue of Ivy and Piper out this week!  We love this cover so bold we love fearless decorating and this is a perfect example don't you think?  I am currently coveting this house!  How STUNNING I just want to move in make hot chocolate and cozy up for the winter!  Next excuse for having no time... our darling girl Penny turned one this week.  I can't believe how big she is and so clever  I fall in love with her more and more each time I catch a glimpse of her.  We had a little birthday party over the weekend so I have had my party planning and baking hat on all week!  On top of this my fabulous business partner has jetted off on an even more fabulous Parisian holiday.  Those of you that know Elizabeth will know I chose this pic because she would be looking this stylish as she swans around Paris!  I will miss her but will definitely live vicariously through her for the next few weeks.  (so jealous) Some friends visited over the weekend and came with the most amazing roses.  They grew them!!! I know aren't they divine and they smell incredible so sweet and thoughtful.  I arranged them on our antique coffee table in front of the fire last night with some other things including my new little blossom dish.  An early birthday present from my sister I love it!!! And lastly I will apologise for the lack of posting but our new fabric collection is keeping us busy too.  Packing sending shipping orders.... so much to do so little time but we are so grateful we get to do what we love.  So please forgive me I promise to stop in a little more frequently.

We were thrilled as one of Brisbane's fashion icons Paul Hunt wore a bow tie hand made for him!  We also had a little fun with our current favourite fabrics and had outfits made in them for the event.  Just goes to show how versatile the fabric can be with just a little imagination.  After all we love fashion and live by the motto Ivy and Piper for a fashionable life!

We had such a wonderful day filled with glamourous guests and Brisbane's glorious sunshine to welcome the brand new Jasmine and Will sleep wear range of which we collaborated on two special pieces.  Thank you too all of our guests including the fabulous Lady Chatterly, Judy from Verandah House, Sharnel Dollar, Kerri from Driftwood and Keren Brown among many others we loved having you and thank you for your support!  We  

Ivy and Piper Designer Collaboration!!!

Ivy and Piper has gone totally pyjamas!!!!!! We were so excited to be asked by the gorgeous Jasmine Lindsay from Australian label Jasmine and Will to collaborate for their upcoming new season sleep wear and loungewear. Our Ivy and Piper 'Don't Fret' trellis has been featured on two of their classic sleepwear pieces this collection and we couldn't be happier! Jasmine and her business partner Kaye design and manufacture the most divine loungewear and their latest collection is full of bold patterns and gorgeous hues a perfect match for Ivy and Piper. We are holding a VIP event tomorrow at a stunning private apartment to showcase the full Jasmine and Will collection and of course our Ivy and Piper collection. For those of you attending you will be in for a treat! We will be sure to post some pics next week.

So we all know Ivy and Piper love pink but how can you not love pink in these rooms! All gorgeous in their own ways need we say more? Hope your weekend was wonderful we shot the most gorgeous Brisbane home for the magazine on the weekend and loved styling and playing and moving the furniture around to our hearts content! So we have been collecting these gorgeous pics (and many more) in our 'plants inside' file for like.. ever!!!! We love this look so chic so effortless so Elle Decor and don't you think the greenery adds something that dare we say fabric or furniture can't??? (I know can't believe we just said that!) Not for everybody but for sometime we have admired this look and have been bringing a little greenery indoors. If you are worried about the maintenance try orchids, palms, succulents, bamboo and just about anything else for the short term. How about you do you bring the outdoors in????

We love a cluster wall simply because it gives us all an excuse to continue to collect pictures, posters, art, photography and treasured 'art' perhaps lovingly made from family (read: finger paintings) even though your walls are almost full! What better way to display all those memories and loves than in a beautiful gallery wall arranged any which way you please. We have image after image of examples of this happily haphazard art of arranging. (mind the pun!) Here are a few, each and every one is beautiful in such a unique way because they reflect their collectors! Love them don't you.

A couple of our candles left at Magnolia!

It feels like we've been all over town these last few weeks and months with constant functions and social events that we've had the pleasure of attending. The latest one was Marie Claire's Up Late on James St on Thursday night and it was so wonderful to see Brisbane's most fashionable and stylish people out in force for the event! There was music blaring in the streets, drinks and canapes at all our favourite stores (including Alexis Dawn and Magnolia Interiors), lots of people buying gorgeous things and it all made for an atmospheric evening.

We were asked to pop into Camilla (as if we could resist...all those kaftans and colours - wow!!) and the public relations manager Sally from Sydney commented on how much Brisbane has changed and is now making its presence felt strongly in the fashion and style arena. I couldn't help but feel proud of my little ol' hometown!

So here are some snaps from the night of me with some of my super stylish friends.
